Regulating the Telecommunications Sector in Grenada

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) was established to regulate the Telecommunications market in Grenada. The Commission’s establishment was formalized through the institutionalization of Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL) Treaty and the promulgation of the Telecommunications Act 31 of 2000.

“Despite the challenges of the ongoing pandemic, we continue to fight for fair competitive practices and high quality of service for consumers of telecommunications services..”

– Dr. Spencer Thomas, Chairman
